<p>I have recently discovered a technique in photography called &#8220;<a title="Tilt-Shift Miniature Faking - Wikipedia.org" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tilt-shift_miniature_faking" target="_blank">Tilt-Shift Miniature Faking</a>&#8220;, via <a title="Tilt-Shift Video Makes Demolition Derby Look Even Sillier" href="http://gizmodo.com/5099535/tilt+shift-video-makes-demolition-derby-look-even-sillier" target="_blank">an article on Gizmodo.com</a>.</p>
<p>The technique uses &#8220;<a title="Tilt-Shift Photogrpahy - Wikipedia.org" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tilt-shift_photography" target="_blank">Tilt-Shift Photography</a>&#8221; to make a life size subject appear like a miniature scale model. The effect is achieved by distorting the focus in order to simulate a very shallow depth-of-field. This makes  the scene seem much smaller than it actually is and is further exaggerated by taking the picture from a high angle.</p>
<p><span id="more-199"></span></p>
<p>Bellow are two amazing videos by Photographer/Videographer <a title="Keith Loutit Official Website" href="http://keithloutit.com/" target="_blank">Keith Loutit</a>. They combine <a title="Time-Lapse - Wikipedia.org" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Time-lapse" target="_blank">Time-Lapse</a> with &#8220;<a title="Tilt-Shift Photogrpahy - Wikipedia.org" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tilt-shift_photography" target="_blank">Tilt-Shift Photography</a>&#8220;. The outcome is nuts.</p>
